Bing is gaining market share - really?
I read this article on Mashable claiming that Microsoft's Bing is the fastest growing top 10 search engine and extolling 5 reasons to switch from Google. I'm all for healthy competition and diversity and it had been about 6 months since I had given MS the benefit of the doubt so I tackled a current problem - which airport to fly into for a Melbourne trip - Avalon or Tullamarine?

Car rental, a weather station in SA and Naked DSL - riiight ...
Let's give Google a shot ...
First result looks promising - oh look, it's user generated content which in a few minutes helped me make an informed decision.
I'm sorry MS - the only way I'm going to switch is if you start providing a better service. I have tried other searches and the results just aren't as useful as Google's. As for those market share numbers, I'm sure my trial is now counted amongst them but I'm no convert.
